One area that my students struggle with is staying seated and on task. With this being my first year teaching I do not have many resources on hand, but I do have a co-teacher and other Intervention Specialist that do have more teaching experience than I do. I'm requesting the two wiggle chairs and exercise ball chairs so that my students will have the opportunity to move around as wells as staying focused. In my classroom we practice staying focused daily while using listening and learning strategies in order to keep up the good listening skills and working independently. My students are in a high need of these resources in order to keep their focus as well as their drive to learn new things and feel comfort in their learning environment.
