My students are struggling and reluctant readers. They need something a little extra to capture their attention. The Kindles will encourage them to read great books that otherwise may not be available to them. I want my small groups to be able to read the same books digitally. Digital reading is the how students will learn in the future. Our state testing is administered on the computer. Students need more experience with digital reading. The Kindle ereaders and sturdy covers will allow students to take home the device to share with their families. Reading opens up the world to students. Help my students broaden their horizons with the Kindle Paperwhite and cover.
