I am requesting Read-Along Books and a Listening Center for my students. These materials will give my English and English as a 2nd language students an opportunity to track words as they follow the CD. The students will improve their vocabulary and fluency and fluency will improve their comprehension. Students will have an opportunity to choose a book and in a quiet space listen to their story. My hope is that this will also help encourage a love of reading. My students will be provided an opportunity to engage with literature. They will be able to focus on listening comprehension without disruption. We appreciate your consideration and support for this project.
