In order to better serve my elementary students, I am in need of hands-on music materials that will engage my kindergarten through second grade students. Many of these students need stimulation and items that capture their attention while enforcing musical concepts. In particular, I would like to purchase a large keyboard mat that students can walk on as it makes sounds. I would also like a Mozart Magic Cube which enforces early identification of orchestral instruments. Both of these items would encourage young students to appreciate music in a variety of ways. Students in this program tend to need durable instruments and manipulatives, so I would like to provide these for them as they may not verbally communicate, but enjoy making music with their hands and bodies.
