Students in today's classroom use technology on a regular basis. Students in my class utilize technology daily. I encourage them to use their tablets and/or phones for many of our science simulations and technology sites. They need to be able to use chargers to charge these devices in class. With Hurricane Harvey last year, many of them are still struggling financially, so every little bit helps. They may not be able to afford a phone and a tablet, so only one or the other gets purchased, and they need a place to charge their device when they are required to use it for their school work in my classroom daily. We are requesting chargers, a place to charge, and a place to store devices will be great. Also, on test days, we need a place to store devices in plain sight, allowing them to charge it but have the devices put away, is a life saver for teachers!
