As my school's social worker, I work with my students and I help them address various mental health troubles. One of the strategies I and my school have begun to implement with our students in order to help student develop better stress tolerance, anger management, and mindfulness is meditation. The bean bag chairs, round table, and hanging egg chair will help to create the environment I wish to give to our students. I hope to use the requested material to create a safe space for the student to relax and experience not only a more therapeutic surrounding during group and individual sessions, but a place where students can let go and experience themselves for a moment in time.

About my class
