I am asking for some materials for alternative seating in my preschool classroom. My students have difficulty with self-regulation due to various issues related to Autism Spectrum Disorder and their age. I have small wooden chairs in my room which my students use at various times throughout the day. As a child, I always had difficulty remaining seated and I was lucky to have amazing teachers that embraced my learning style and allowed me to stand while doing work. Technology and resources have changed and I would like to give my students the opportunity to supply flexible seating for little learners. I am asking for wobble chairs which help students regulate themselves and allows them the ability to move while seated. Balance ball chairs could also help students that need to move to focus while also helping build core strength.
