Flexible seating will greatly enhance the learning and growing that takes place in my classroom! My classroom is full of high-energy kindergarteners who often find it difficult to sit still during learning. I am hoping that different seating options will help increase student engagement and collaboration among peers. Flexible seating will help my students explore different ways of learning and decide what works best for them. Some benefits of flexible seating include: -Choice- Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning. -Comfort- Students learn best when they are comfortable. -Peer interaction- Not having flexible seating for all students will help students learn to share and work with their peers. -Sensory- Some of my learners need a way to move and fidgit while learning. -Fun- Learning should be fun and flexible seating is one way to help with that!
