If I had a projector I would use it everyday! So many of the resources I use in my classroom are formatted on the computer. A projector allows me to present these resources as engaging guided lessons. It has been difficult to find another teacher's projector that is free at the time I need it. Every teacher seems to know the value of this piece of equipment! To overcome barriers and play to their strengths my students need multiple means of representation and the visual & interactive activities a projector allows me to share make a difference! Some of the ways I would use a projector are to share Online Educational Sights, Video Clips and Power Point Presentations. I find that the students are more attentive and experience greater enthusiasm for learning when I offer them material that they understand to be valuable to their lives. A projector gives us access to these authentic connections!
