During my 11 years as a teacher in an economically disadvantage district I have learned to manage and improvise with many supplies in order to enable success. Students in the community are eager to learn but unfortunately lack the funding many times to engage in many hands on projects. I have learned so much from the students in this community and have learned the value of commitment and perseverance.
