Students will use headphones for the audio feature of a vocabulary program (vocabulary.com). With brand new vocabulary, it's important for students to be able to pronounce the words. The headphones will help them turn to auditory assistance while they work through the program. Students will enjoy enhanced reading experiences. Struggling readers will have access to Tumble Book Cloud to listen to text from the Orca hi-lo reading series. Students will also be able to use independent reading time during class to read new books that have interactive components such as videos, puzzles, etc. ESL students will have the benefit of auditory support any time it is necessary during a lesson.
