As technology improves through the years our schools and classrooms need to improve along with it! The classroom is a great place to inspire a love of reading, but filling a library as a new teacher is difficult, not to mention, expensive. My students are in need of E-Readers in order to get new and exciting books in our class! Everyday my students participate in novel groups and often they have to share books. If we had five E-readers all of my students the group could have their own copy of the story. My third grade readers come from low-income families and allowing them to experience new technology is investing in their futures! By being able to gift them with items to make their work easier and more special they will continue to work hard. A little appreciation goes a long way to students and my students give so much.
