Hello! Our school is proud to be the first stop for newcomer English Language Learners who move to New Haven from all around the globe. My students come from Iraq, Afghanistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Guinea, China, Nepal, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Peru, the Dominican Republic, and other countries. Many of these students' families are in the United States for political asylum or as resettled refugees. We are a high poverty school, and resources are spread thin. Please help me make English language learning and literacy come alive for my awesome kiddos!
