The areas my students struggle the most with are listening and speaking, phonemic awareness and phonics . The addition of technology would give my students a much needed boost of practice in the areas of listening and speaking, pre-reading skills (phonemic awareness and phonics). The HP touchscreen laptop will be beneficial to my students by providing them with additional support at center time.By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase students' skills in the foundations of reading, you will help to increase their overall academic achievement. Students will have access and navigate interactive ELA websites which will aid in strengthening pre-reading and foundation skills needed to become strong readers.
