My students are eager learners that have a lot of pressure to succeed on their first state standardized test for third grade. My students are from lower socio-economic families whose basic needs may or may not be met at home. Many of my students have challenges with their basic math and reading skills and have to work extra hard to succeed on grade level. Our school has many dedicated teachers that devote themselves to the success of these kids so that these students are able to go on in life and be knowledgeable and productive citizens. We want them to experience all different types of teaching and teaching tools within the safe environment of the school setting.
