To help build a strong culture within our school where all students feel safe, connected, & respected, we implemented a program called (P.B.I.S.) Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support. To our school community, it’s called the Davison “W.A.Y.” – We Are Respectful to Everyone, We are Accountable for our Actions and We are striving Yearly to be a better person, friend and student. Students in grades K-8th who display positive behaviors, meet our school-wide expectations, and have a dedication to learning will earn dragon bucks to shop at our Dragon Lair Store. Students got to spend their dragon bucks on glitter pencils, toy dinosaurs, slime, mini basketballs, baseballs, slapped stick bracelets, glow sticks, fidget spinners, and earphones for their cellphones. Our P.B.I.S. program was a huge success for our students and staff. However, we aren’t able to restock our Dragon Liar Store because we don’t have the financial funding to continue this program. I'm asking for your help to support our students and our program, the Davison “W.A.Y.” Acknowledging and rewarding both students and staff for their dedication to the program, will help ensure the continued success of the P.B.I.S. in our school and help support positive behaviors in our school community where students feel safe, connected, and respected.
