Currently I have 8 students without their own guitars. The instruments donated would be put to immediate use. We currently have to share guitars and some students do not get to participate regularly in class. These are fine students who want to learn and are excited about playing a guitar. The lack of an instrument to use affects their participation and may hinder their success in the class. I am sure that a donation of instruments will help them going forward with their musical instruction. We have offered this class previously and have always had students without an instrument but not the number like this year.
