My students will practice music, rhythms, and movement at home with these resources. We will all stay safe from exposure to Covid19, while making music together through the year. The dowels will serve as a rhythm tap as well as playing a drum on the floor. The scarves will help with accuracy in rhythm and movement through songs and dances. Music can be very exciting when there is a physical engagement in performing rhythms and movement. Playing dowels as rhythm sticks will help to students remember and master reading and performing music. Movement and creative play with the scarves will add expression to their musical experience.
