Sitting an entire day in uncomfortable chairs is difficult for many students. The materials requested in the project (stools, wobble cushions, and convertible bench) will give my students optional seating to help encourage movement and a positive comfortable learning environment. Giving students different seating options not only helps students to feel a sense of ownership in our classroom, but it also encourages students to move which gives them more energy for learning. The items in this project will help create a classroom environment where students feel comfortable, joyful, and energized to take ownership of their learning. This will help turn our classroom into flexible seating options for all students.

About my class
