Students will use these materials during their daily project time to work collaboratively with hands-on tools. They will complete design challenges to build circuits, generate electricity, and build prototypes of their own sustainable designs. Students will go through a revision process using peer critique. Meanwhile, students will learn about energy use and the effects of global warming through integrated language arts lessons and expert guests. Finally, students will teach our community about reducing energy use through their models in our digital exhibition. Students will use these tools as inspiration and as materials to create their own original, beautiful sustainable designs to share at exhibitions.
