These materials will give my students more visual and hands on activities to make learning meaningful in our classroom. We can go beyond pictures, books, and videos to have real life experiences in our classroom! First graders will see and experience animal life cycles in action. The life cycle kits will help inspire their curiosity and give them connections to real life experiences in our classroom. They will observe, write about, and create projects about the animal life cycles. A document camera will give young learners the experience to see and manipulate materials that can be displayed for our class. This will include writing and handwriting to modeling measuring and telling time.
