I am an 8th grade ELA (English) teacher. I would love for my in-person students to be able to have access to an individual reading book in class. I thought I had enough copies for my students but I don't. This would greatly impact their learning experience. I am asking for help completing a class set. We will read these novels in class so the books will not leave my room. I have 5 classes of 35 students. We need enough copies for everyone in the class. The theme of the story is Survival. If you were to pick the main theme of the Hunger Games series, the ability and desire to survive would rightfully come first and foremost. They are stories of survival, physically and mentally. Due to the poverty and starvation issues within Panem, survival is no sure thing.
