This area rug will allow my students to have more choice and comfort when selecting their learning seats for each individual assignment. My students and I will use this large area rug every day for the entire year and the following years after that. Our classroom is dedicated to learning without tables or assigned seats. We love to learn on the floor and choose where we sit with each lesson. Learning on the floor helps us develop core muscles needed for early childhood development. Having the freedom to choose where we sit helps us feel independent and trusted by our teacher and that helps us focus on learning.

About my class
