These materials will make a difference in my 8th grade students' learning by allowing them to experience the NGSS standards hands-on. These materials will give 100 students the chance to experience 5 different STEM labs. Forces, Matter, and Interactions, Oh My! The students will be focusing on the first two NGSS standards, which are, "MS-PS1 Matter and its Interactions" and "MS-PS2 Motion and Stability: Forces and Interactions". I have already bought $200 worth of supplies for 2 labs for my students, and on a teacher's salary, I could use all the help I can get to fund more labs for my students. The students will make aluminum foil boats, lava lamps, film cannister rockets, self-inflating balloons, and floating bubbles. These learning experiences will be memorable and enjoyable for my wonderful 8th grade superheroes. Thank you.
