Students will gain understanding of printing techniques and supplies while making backgrounds and designs for greeting cards. Lettering techniques and writing skills will be used to complete the card. Empathy and kindness for the elderly in our community will be the primary reason for creating cards while using the gelli plates and other supplies to decorate the background. Students today need to understand that kindness matters. Your generosity in helping us get the supplies that we need to explore art techniques will also help them feel empathy for those that have reached the golden years in their lives. Delivering these greeting cards to our elderly will enrich both the lives of them and our students!

About my class
