First graders have much energy and need to move often. I like to give my students choices of where they do their best work. Each of them has their own learning style and way of learning and giving them, some choice in seating helps them achieve better learning. Wobble seats will be a great addition for students to choose where they work best. They can move a little, yet keep at what they are doing as they get their wiggles out. Studies show that when given the opportunity to choose in what kind of seating they work best, that there are less behavior problems and more learning taking place.
