I am requesting a variety of glazes which will give my students the opportunity to finish the creative process. Each student will be able to put their signature onto each clay piece they create. Each student gets the same criteria, elements. By choosing different Dick Blick glazes, it allows them to show the spunky side of themselves through color choice. When you provide materials for my students, they are able to choose materials they wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to use. Students will also learn how different glazes perform on different types of clay and in the kiln. They will learn which glazes will need more than one or two coats to get the desired effect.
