The flexible seating option will allow my students the opportunity to move around the room and be able to feel comfortable while working. Student motivation and higher engagement is truly the desire end game, and the classroom environment is a crucial factor in this. The objective for having various seating arrangements is to limit the time students are sitting in a sedentary position. Flexible seating will encourage students to do their absolute very best while feeling comfortable. I chose 3 Big Joe chairs and a set of stools to add to the yoga balls and lawn chairs I already have in my classroom. My students will have the opportunity to share in the comfort with each other and produce great work because the class environment will be conducive to learning expectations.
