State testing is required on an electronic device. In grades K-2, students have questions read to them. In order for students to all test together, they need headphones. Our parents can not afford headphones for their children. We try to provide them, but we are usually buying them with our own money. Several headphones are broken and some only have one side working. We do have students without headphones and they have to test in a separate room so no one can hear their device. Special Education students are required to have headphones. Having proper testing materials will improve confidence and test scores.
