Every chemistry student needs a calculator to use while they are in their classroom in order to successfully complete labs and data analysis. The scientific calculators will be kept in the classroom at all times and used for labs, exams, and in-class work. The scientific calculator will allow students to focus on their work, rather than be distracted while using the calculator on their cell phone. It will make answering problems using scientific notation and mole calculations quicker. The students are currently using their cell phones - if they have them - because our current calculators have cracked screens, stuck buttons, and the batteries fall out because the battery storage is broken.
