A colleague and I initiated the art club to expose our students to various opportunities in art for their future while emphasizing the need to give back to the community. Our club is a service club in that besides learning different techniques to serve our own interests we also work on beautifying the school for special events and in more permanent ways such as this year's proposed school grounds sculpture for future classes at MTES to enjoy as well as citizens in our community. Our sculpture is dynamic because it can be adapted and added to by future art club members and will constantly surprise visitors with change.
