I plan to use the iPods in different content areas. I will be using the iPods during reading, math, science, and social studies. I plan to to load them up with educational apps that they could use during guided reading and guided math centers. Using this type of technology will help students have fun while learning, which will lead to better focus in class and greater academic success! iPods will bring what we are learning in school come to live! I have received 360 degree VR glasses that can attach to the iPods so students can see 360 videos of what we are learning about in class. Imagine students learning about volcanoes and being able to stand in one of them using the 360 videos on the iPods! What a great learning opportunity. Students will also be able to visit landforms, states, and other countries without leaving the school by using the iPods and 360 degree VR glasses. Many students will never have the opportunity to visit places like the Grand Canyon but now with the help of technology they can without leaving the classroom!
