Having new books will make a significant difference in our classroom. Our 5th grade classroom is severely lacking good books that students can use to learn how to read. My students are eager to become amazing readers and unfortunately our classroom lacks the resources to make books available to the students appropriate for their reading levels. Having more texts will allow students to expand their reading and comprehension as well as develop a love for reading. At such a young age it will make all the difference in the world for these kids to be exposed to quality literature and have the books they need to become successful readers.
