My students love coding and using their devices to learn. However, I want them to still have the tactile experience of manipulatives while they are learning. The Osmo kits that I am requesting for my classroom will do just that. Students are able to work on reading skills like short and long vowels, blends, and other spelling rules with the letter tiles. They will also be able to work on math skills with the number tiles. The coding games will enable them to practice coding in a way that we have not been able to do in the past. It will help them to build a foundation for these skills in a very fun way that will help them in the future.
