Our district is going to a 1:1 device environment, however, our school has not reached that point yet. Many students continue to struggle to have consistent access to technology. This lack of consistency impedes the education success of many of our students. As our community moves towards a more technology-rich environment, many students are left out due to the lack of availability. Many of our teachers, myself included, are expected to incorporate technology into our lessons, such as the use of Google Classroom. My students would benefit immensely to have consistent access to technology through the use of Chromebooks. Having this access will allow for assignment completion, access to programs to further develop skill sets, and connect with their community.
