In trying to keep up with varying ages of my caseload, the students’ spectrum of needs, and the nature of itinerant teaching I have seen the benefit for mobile technology to be able to expand my student’s language and communication skills. A portable tool like an iPad with case would allow access to activities and resources that would otherwise be inaccessible. iPads have numerous apps that help students with language and auditory skills and being portable makes it an ideal tool for an itinerant teacher. Having a modern teaching resource like an iPad, that is reliable and has sufficient storage, would improve my students’ achievement by providing them access to a global network of information.
