iPads will help reach every learner in the classroom in some way. My second graders are sponges, waiting to absorb learning. They want to know how things work, who wrote certain books, and read many books online. These iPads will provide students the opportunity to work with various educational apps that will help each child be more successful in the classroom. This is a technology literate world, any new interaction with new technology will help increase my students literacy skills. I believe having these iPads in the classroom will be another way to meet every child's need in the classroom. Some of my students need extra practice in math, these iPads will allow students to get on MobyMax and Sumdog and practice math using interactive, educational apps.
