These materials will help our robotics students to be able to complete the missions challenge piece of the upcoming First Lego League season. Their are three pieces to each challenge and one of those pieces is mission challenge. They must design, build, program a robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS, then compete on a table-top playing field. The robot students use for this is the EV3 that we have requested. Students will get to apply real-word math and science concepts. Studies also show that Lego League participants are more interested in doing well in school and have more interest in attending college.
