My students would greatly benefit from having a calming MakerSpace in our classroom. Many students need to find a way to cope and calm their emotions. Students will utilize a corner of the room with an art easel and supplies. Students will have their very own art pad to create a special place of art. Students will use acrylic paints, brushes, blenders and canvases. Children will be able to express their emotions in a safe space. They can reflect on their art and help better understand their emotions. Students will be able to use the calming lights and scents from the diffuser to create beautiful masterpieces. The MakerSpace can benefit all learners before, during, and afterschool. Help me create this safe space for all learners!
