Students will have more options for activities to build their knowledge of reading and literacy skills! The activities are genuine and purposeful, and they won't waste the student's time. They are simple enough for students to do with a small group, even if they are struggling readers! The comprehension stations will create valuable learning opportunities for students to deepen their understanding of what they read. Vocabulary skills, which are a huge need for these students, will encourage them to build their own vocabulary, which will help them throughout life. During small group time, students will rotate from station to station and work with the new centers to gain deeper understanding of comprehension, vocabulary, and phonics!
