In our classroom, I love to use Chromebooks to enhance learning, teach new techniques, and challenge my students. We use Chromebooks to research, create slide presentations, type writing assignments, work in research-based educational programs, read books, make digital diagrams and charts, and other amazing things! My students actually "knock my socks off" with their technological knowledge! However, we only have 4 Chromebooks in our class. Although I encourage group work and patience, I would love to have a class set so that each student would be able to work independently on assignments all at the same time. This would allow students to practice skills independently and at their own pace, and it would allow me to assess more accurately. We all know that technology is a huge part of our society, and I want each of my students to have access to the materials they need so they have daily opportunities to further their learning through the use of technology!
