The use of a digital camera in an early childhood setting allows for students to recall what they seen on walking trips and field trips and make text to text, text to world and text to self connections. Often when we return from outdoors students have trouble recalling what they seen and explaining.The photo printer in the classroom will allow for the students to see themselves as they experience the world around them and make awesome starters when teaching writing. By donating to our project students will be able to verbally express their experiences and reflect by writing about those experiences. In addition, when students transition to learning centers, the pictures will help to make transitions easier.
