Every student in my school will enjoy learning to play rhythms and participate in drum circle activities for year to come with the addition of these 6 drums. Students will learn to play with the group as well as find their unique musical voice. The drums will also be used for music therapy sessions for students with special needs called DRUMBEAT. The DRUMBEAT curriculum is a program that originated in Australia and is being introduced in Florida to help students who struggle with social issues. The drum circle creates a community in which children can better understand relationships and find acceptance.
