Students will be using the scientific calculators to complete complex chemistry problems. Most of the students can not afford a calculator and they become frustrated and give up when they have to complete the problems by hand. As we continue to study moles, molar mass, empirical and molecular formulas, and other complex chemistry topics, the math become increasingly difficult. Having access to the calculators will help the students work through the problems with ease and help gain confidence in their skills. As their skills increase, the students will be able to tackle more complex problems which will help prepare them for other higher level courses.

About my class
