Our school is a school for every child, especially those with special needs --grades Kindergarten - 5th grade. The students that are in my classroom may come with challenging behaviors or a type of learning disability - but all our students are important and deserve to have the best that I can give them! Some of our students that I see throughout the day have traumatic events in their lives that can greatly alter their ability to learn in certain ways. As a school we are working towards the training to become a Trauma Informed School. The goal of our classroom is to help every student that enters become successful with the standards we are given. My students may need extra processing time, visuals that others may not need, or tools that can help them understand difficult concepts. Our goal is always to help students learn the best to their ability.
