My students love to work with their hands and apply the design process in all of their STEM and Makerspace projects. They are eager to learn more and I'm trying to keep up with their passion! I purchased the "Extroadinaires Design Studio Pro" kit with my personal money to give them more experience with design thinking! They are hungry for more! I am requesting the additional work stations that go with the kits as well as additional challenges to keep my students engaged and designing! With the additional kits I can extend my projects to include 5th and 6th grade as well as my current 7th and 8th grade classes. When we introduce design thinking to young students, we are setting them up for success in their future. Think about it...even a toothbrush had to be designed!
