I am a math teacher at a larger, low-income school in Oregon. I work mostly with students that have never had success with math and help them build confidence and gain skills. I try to make my classroom a warm, welcome place where students know they are cared for and wanted. Almost 30% of my students need individualized instruction, and my average class size is 40.
