The Hair and Scalp anatomy is a very complex part of the cosmetology industry classroom. Students have difficulties understanding and distinguishing the different structures of the hair root and hair shaft from the basic pictures that are in the text books. Having the hair and skin 3d models will aide in understanding the differences among the three main layers of the hair shaft and differentiating the structures of the hair root. These models will create a dynamic example for better understanding of how this anatomy works together in the sciences of cosmetology. Students will be able to use these as guides for several projects and chapters in our text throughout their entire cosmetology course.
