The Microsoft Surface Pro will provide my students an updated technology for designing parts for their FIRST TECH robot, and prototypes for their FIRST LEGO projects. The protective gear we are asking for will help protect the laptop when we travel to competitions and in our everyday work environment. FIRST TECH and FIRST LEGO are programs that not only address students academic growth, but also helps build character, leadership, and problem solving skills. These products will allow us to use CAD programs not currently supported by our computers. Our programs would be able to be saved to our hard drives instead of having to rely on jump drives that are easily misplaced.
