My students use our classroom Chromebooks on a daily basis for learning how to read, practice their math skills, blog, and do research. Our English language earners use Chromebooks for their daily English-learning program to improve their English. While our school is lucky enough to provide 2:1 Chromebooks for our students, headphones are not provided by the district. When student have headphones for their learning, their quality of learning goes up and are less distracted. The headphones that I provided at the beginning of the year were very cheap and unfortunately could not hold up to daily use by first graders.
